Rosario Cemetery Jun 11, 2016
Rosario Cemetery is not listed on any to do lists in this beautiful town, but it should be visited. It is located in one corner of the huge city park where few museums are located. Walk to there is very pleasant, rows of threes and nicely made fountains edged with different bush are on the way. When you arrive to huge wall that looks like fortress or a jail, you are at the place. Go to the entrance and just walk in, no one is going to ask you anything. As usual most of artsy and rich thumbs are around the entrance. There are some sizable statues and not so usual graves. The wall that surrounds this cemetery is actually back side of the numerous galleries that host personal graves. They are four high on at least three floors. There is also an underground area, and this part is not so nice. Actually it is falling apart a bit, water sipping through windows and generally very creepy. You get in through multiple staircases that appear around the grounds.
