Great bar with views of Melbourne from 7 stories up!! Mar 12, 2008

Rooftop Bar is fantastic! It is located about 7 floors up on Swanston Street so you get a great view of the city!

The actual bar is quite small but there is plenty of space to chill out in the beer garden. When it is sunny you can lounge around in the deck chairs under an umbrella.

They have Little Creatures on tap which is a really nice Australian beer (it tastes nothing like VB, or Fosters which no one here actually drinks - yuk) Pots are $4 and Pints are $8

They have a large movie screen where the show films some evenings in the summer time, it's quite expensive though so if you are just after a drink, perhaps check they are not screening anything that night.

- Got the train down to sydney airport and then my plane to melbourne airport. got off the plane and onto a shuttle bus to one of the train stations, i think it was called southern cross station but im not sure. i walked round to the Etihad stadium …rooftop bar which was awesome. i bought us a pint each of Asahi which was good tasting and we stayed there and caught up on 7 years of life in about 2 hours. she then took me down to federation square. there is a big screen… 55th day
