Loved Roof View Place Apr 11, 2009
The staff here at roof view place were so friendly and helpful with all of our needs from phone cards to tours.
Roof View Place is not located on the main tourist street Koh san road it is 1 minute from Samsen Road and I'd say about 10 minutes away from koh san road - (walking distance) however there are shops and a main street with a 7/11 and tuk tuk trucks very close to this hotel so you are never stuck for anything, we stayed here during the songkran festival so everytime we wanted to go back to the hotel we were squirted by the local children with waterguns :) rooms are secure and well equipped with AC, fridge with bottled water, hot shower. Clean towels daily and new amenities. Rooms overall very clean. Good breakfast with a medium sized selection omelette, toast, cereal, fruit also tea, coffee and orange juice, you wash up your own plates and cups aftrwards. Roof View Place also has a luggage lift where you just put your bags in and it hoists them up to your floor to save you carrying them up the stairs :) Nice quiet location and no street noise at night. Internet access in reception area. highly recommended. Part of the Thailand and Cambodia 2009 travel blog

The guest house was called Roof View Place and it was fine, with clean rooms and bathroom and a tv which was good. Today we slept in to catch up on some sleep and then got a taxi to Siam Square. We needed to sort out our camera… Bangkok, Koh Samui, Koh Phangnan, Ko Tao |
