Rong Impression International Hotel Chengdu

Stayed in three different rooms at this hotel for a total of three weeks. The hotel is a five star hotel with $59.00 rooms, big bathrooms with both tub and an huge shower. 55+ TV stations. Free parking. Free large buffet breakfast. The staff was always helpful but only the manager knew a little English. The beds were comfortable. Close to Old Jinli Street, 15 minute drive. Five minutes to Ito-Yokado shopping mall. Five minutes to nightclub district and club 88. Fairly close, 40 minutes, to the Panda Park. 40 minutes to the main downtown shopping area. Five stars for $59.00. I recommend it.

It's definitely worth the two hour drive to see the big Buddha in Lehsan then head up to Emie. Visit the hot springs then stay the night then the next morning drive up to Mt. Emie to the summit to see the Buddhist statue. Also took a 45 minute plane ride to Huang Long Valley then to Jiuzhiagou Valley. Check out Club 88. It's bottle service. Also check out the killer Japanese buffet at La Brasserie located on the second floor of the Sofitel Hotel. $35.00 USD per plate.
