Ronaldsway Airport, Ronaldsway, Isle of Man
Ronaldsway Airport Reviews
Ronaldsway Airport Jun 13, 2011
Ronaldsway Airport is a small airport and the main airport on Isle of Man, if you are taking a larger of the small carriers like; Ayr Arann, fly.be.com and Blue islands and so on. When you land it will no take you long before you are in the luggage area. We, and I could se many of the other planes, de-embarked to the ground floor and walked straight in. There are only two luggage belts so there will be no confusion there.
I liked the sign in the immigration control that stated that if you were not a EU or Commonwealth citizen you had to go to the immigration office. There are several car hire offices in the arrival area but most of them are closed in the weekend and holiday.
There is an ATM between the doors where you enter and leave the airport. It is a nice cute airport and when you go out you can really fast sense the tranquility of the island. Palm trees outside is also a nice take-away.
Leaving from the airport is quite easy as well; it is not an over run airport so check-in goes fast, security as well – they demand you to take of the shoes. The gate area is calm and nice; everything here is well organized and easy to follow.
