As usual, I could not sleep but for an hour or so last night because I was so geeked about this trip.  Mom took me to the airport in the sleet and rain (thanks Mom!)... God, I can't wait for the sunshine!  In a bizarre twist of fate, I got through airline security without being pulled aside for an "extra security check" wherein they pat you down and put that metal-detection wand in every crevace they can manage.  This is an unusual occurance for me, why I don't know.  I ha...
