Located on Via delle Terme, these ancient ruins are a bit of a question mark when it comes to sightseeing in Spoleto. They are not officially earmarked as a sight worth seeing, and this is a great shame. The ruins are from the Roman period, and I’m not sure whether these are the remnants of a temple of government building which must have existed on the site. And yet they are rather nice to see. While the foro romano in Rome makes the most of its ruins, the ruins here just seem to go unnoticed by locals and visitors alike. Worth a very quick look while you walk down this main street.
