PefGood Enough For College Kids On A Road Trip Mar 11, 2009
I will say this about this hotel - $35 a night for three nights for 3 people is not bad at all. The place looked like it needed some major work done on the outside, and the parking lot could be repaved, but the person at the front desk was nice, he even let us check in at 1:30pm rather then having to wait till 3:00pm. Also the room was in fair good condition, except the A/C didn't work and the room service didn't clean out the mini fridge or under the bed before we checked it. No matter on the stuff in the fridge, we just stacked the old Chinese food cartons outside our door. None of it was picked up for the first full day we were there. There was a outdoor pool (drained and covered because of the season) and an indoor hot tub, which had to be turned on and allowed to heat up before use.
For the price we paid, the stay was what good. The few minor problems with the room were nothing horrible, and it wasn't like we needed the A/C - it snowed one night we were there lol. This place a good stay for college kids on a trip =) Part of the Spring Break 2009 travel blog
