Robberg is a 3-4 hour hike right outside of Plettenberg Bay. You start at the top of some cliffs with amazing views of the ocean in all directions. This hike takes you through sandy beaches to rocky cliffs and along the way you will see some spectacular sights. You will probably also see seals, lots of birds, and dassies (rock rabbits). The hike can be quite dangerous at times - try to go during low tide - one part during high tide has you literally climbing across a chain on a cliff above rocks and water unless they have sinced changed the route. I also hear that massive waves have swept people off the trail in parts that get fairly close to the water so just be cautious when getting close to the water. The beginning part of the trail seemed busy but once you get onto the longer trail there are little or no people. It is a spectacular hike!

I think it costs $5 or so to park and get onto the trail.

Definately bring hiking boots, camera, water and maybe even a small snack. A waterproof jacket might not be a bad idea if you have room.
