i was bored on my last day in siem reap so i just told my tuk tuk driver," hey chan, how about going for some spiders?" he looked at me amazed and we zipped off to the old market place in search of fried spiders. Alas the store in teh wet market was closed so we got off to a roadside store. there we were told we weren't in season for the spiders, but if we were interested in someting else, they had aplenty. turns out that the something else was cricket and some beetle like bug which i still can't figure out! i bought half a bag of fried crickets for about 2000r and guess my surprise when i saw what was in it. a fried black beetle like bug! the one and only! i happily popped everything into my mouth.

they actually tasted quite delicious!

You are amazing, I don't think I could do it. Though I heard they aren't that bad really. Still, I am a lightweight.
