Roadside Shawarma

Shawarma is one thing that I am going to miss when I am out of Middle East countries.
As a popular street food, the population of shawarma sellers are a lot and easy to be noticed or found in every countries in middle east.
Taste tastier than burger or hotdog, with grilled layers of meat (lamb or chicken) put in huge rotating stick and grilled slowly. A piece of meat fat is put on top of the meat, thus it will melt and cover the whole meat.
When we ordered, the seller will start to take a thin layers of meat, put it inside arabic flat bread and put some sliced tomatoes, cucumber and lettuce and put some hummous paste inside (and chilli sauce if requested).
It will be served with pickles and sliced carrots and cucumbers.
Cost us 1.5JD (2.5 USD) per portion. Very cheap!
