Roadblocks of Kruger National Park Reviews
Roadblocks of Kruger National Park May 31, 2009
Driving inside Kruger involves slow driving since the speedlimits are 50ks per hour on the sealed roads and 40 on the unsealed roads. But this is not the only thing which will slow you down. You are likely to be delayed by an extreme number of roadblocks all around.
When you drive down a road you might suddenly find it is blocked by something. Be it a giant grey elephant, a huge herd of buffalos or just a simple little stripped zebra. The continues roadblocks mean you need to take delays into account when you plan your driving times. It is not enough just to set time aside for stops to have a look at the animals at the road side you need a buffer to accommodate the roadblocks.
But most people in the park don’t really find the roadblocks too annoying and just consider them a part of the general entertainment.
