Road Maps in Ireland Reviews

When you're on the road in Ireland (and indeed Europe in general) it is advisable to use ViaMichelin as your online mapping/route planning solution. The AA also has an excellent route planner that gives comprehensive directions.

It can be purchased from Amazon and most major computer retail stores. It is always useful to have a map of the entire country with the major roads listed on it, and one of these is available for free download from: http://peacelinetours.g2gm.com/pictures/maps/Ireland_map.jpg If you prefer to use traditional maps over online mapping solutions, check out Ordnance Survey Ireland's website, where you can buy many maps for a reasonable price. "The Complete Road Atlas of Ireland" is available on this site and costs 12.50 Euro. http://www.irishmaps.ie/productlistingT.cfm?SeriesID=7 |
