Riviera Maya Travel and Tourism Guide

  It is a beautiful place! The food was very good.  The rooms were ok.  The only problem, is the beach is not very nice.  A lot of rock on the beach and in the wather! But apparently it's not uncommon in Riviera Maya.  If the beach is the most important thing for you.....I think it's better to find an other place to stay. But for people like to see more than a beach....it's a good place! You have a lot to do!

I'm not a big fan of white sandy beaches and sunbathing, but it was just what I needed after a day and a half of extreme heat and walking around ruins, not to mention my troubles at Tulum.  The beach at the resort was so beautiful.  The water was so clear and still.  I've never seen the ocean so calm.  It was so nice to get in the water and just float back and forth along the coast.  Then we laid out in the sun, warming up and drying off, while enjoying some cold drin...

Stayed at the "Secrets Excellence" resort in the Riviera Maya in February of 2006 with three amazing friends and had an absolutely wonderful time. I would highly recommend this place and their wonderful spa to anyone.

Our first vacation of 2008. Covered Cancun,Peurto Aventuras,Playa Del Carmen,Akumal,Cozumel. This was our 2nd trip to Mexico and we still love it as always :)
