Rolling on the Milwaukee River Aug 09, 2008
If you are a visitor to Milwaukee I would say the best bet to truly appreciate my city is going on the River boat tour.
For a budget traveler the price is kinda pricey but the experiance ( if you let it be) is worthwhile! The cruise tours that are offered are both public and private. The public cruise tours are $25 a person. The company will not operate on a evening unless there are at LEAST 15 guests! Each evening offers a diverse day, usually starts from 6pm thro 7:30pm and another from 7:45pm thro 9:15pm: Monday- Margarita Monday Cruise Tuesday- Tiki Tuesday Cruise Wednesday- Wine-O Wednesday Cruise Thursday- Thirsty Thursday Cruise Friday- Funky Friday Cruise * I went on this one and it was so fun! Saturday- Social Saturday Cruise Also there are dinner cruises that range from $35-$55 For more informations on Private cruises like for a birthday, wedding, office parties, etc please refer to the website! My first time on one of these tours was August 2007, i was attending a Bachelorette party and it was soooooooo much fun because there was 2 bachelorette parties at the same time..and I'll leave it at that.. I recommend this boat cruise, its fun and if you bring along friends it brings for a enjoyable time to chat, drink, the view of the Lakefront, passer-byers!
