Riverside Cemetery - Lochbuie - TravBuddy

I'm cheating because this isn't in Lochbuie.  However, by the backroads routes I take, it's on the way.  It's the oldest cemetery I've found in the area except for a small one in Golden which might not still be intact, and of course the notorious Native ones now obliterated by downtown Denver (possible cause of the curse of the brown cloud).  It is fascinating and eccentric, and it's a good thing it wasn't in Douglas County, because it would have been bulldozed over a few years ago like everything else.

Most famous resident: Baby Doe Tabor (who does not look much like Beverly Sills at all); others are the father and brother of the renowned actress Hattie McDaniel.
