Riu Caribe - Cancun Sep 29, 2008
I was here in 2003 - it was a nice resort - however the property was relatively small. The food, service, beach and amenities were all decent. I suppose I was just not a big fan of how crowded it was when I went. Not a bad resort though.

Nice all-inclusive on the beach in Cancun. Scuba, spa, pools, beaches, tennis, golf, restaurants, bars, entertainment, tours, gift shop, arts & crafts venfors. The rooms are spacious. The ocean-view rooms have large patios. The non-oceanview rooms are not so great. If you are visiting the restaurants and bars in the hotel, check ahead for their open/close hours to avoid getting all dressed up with no-where to go! If you miss out, there's always the sportsbar down the back hallway for latenight nachos and internet terminals. The Reception staff is not always the most helpful, or knowledgeable. The spa treatments are good. Tour operators set up kiosks in the lobby daily if you need information or transportation.
