Ristorante Ambasciata di Capri Rome Reviews
Caprese Cuisine in Rome Oct 03, 2012
Heading home the following day, we went to Ristorante Ambasciata di Capri for our farewell dinner. The name means "Embassy of Capri" and the theme is to bring a bit of Caprese flavor to Rome. (The restaurant displays a proclamation from Capri thanking them for the representation in Rome!)
Seafood is the thing here. I didn't know how they were going to match all that great seafood we'd had in Venice, but they did! The meal followed the typical pattern. Antipasto, a pasta course of Ravioli alla Caprese and Farfalle, and then San Pietro fish with a small salad and potatoes. Dessert was a lemon torte. All excellent!
The restaurant had several rooms and seemed to be patronized by both locals and visitors.
