Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies Reviews

Sep 15, 2007
The Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies include several venues. There is the Tropical Rainforest, Ocean Realm, Coral Reef, Shark Lagoon, Stingray Bay, and many more. There are over 10,000 creatures and 350 different species. The Coral Reef has literally hundreds of the most colorful fish I have ever seen. I really enjoyed the Shark Lagoon, where there is a clear tunnel that goes under the water and you can look up into the tank and see the sharks, turtles and other fish swim above you. There is a moving sidewalk, so all there is to do is stand and enjoy the view. The Discovery Center is a great learning experience and in the Touch-a-Ray Bay you can touch the rays as they swim by in the shallow water. Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies is a wonderful place for the entire family to enjoy.
