Rios D'Sudamerica
Rios D'Sudamerica Reviews
idk May 07, 2009
I went to this Rios for the first on a saturday night with a friend. They have a nice atmosphere, the staff is nice enough. It's not hard to get to at all, if you take the blue line either get off at damen or western and walk a couple of blocks.
To be honest I don't know if I will go back. The drinks were good, so were the appetizers but the main course (for both of us) lacked on flavor....Service was decent, but they would take a long time to serve, funny because it was not crowded that night. I do have to say, as a Peruvian maybe my standards are higher. I think gringos would like it better, my husband is one, but does know of good food. He actually did like the the it (he just added more salt to it). I started with with a passion fruit pisco sour and it was excellent! my friend had a inka gold (i think that's what is called). For appetizer's we tried palta rellena (halve avocado filled with chicken, mayo and some veggies) and papa rellena (stuffed potato). Like I said before the main course was not good, we had a sudado de marisco (steamed seafood with some sort of sauce) and pollo a la brasa. I was told their pollo a la brasa was the BEST. I was a bit dissapointed. :( ****Oh yah, we spent like $90 combined, incl tip |
