My second time in Brazil. Nice to be back! This time I’m with my mom and sis. We’re visiting my Brazilian sister, She lives in Sao Paulo. Really nice to see her again! And her family off course.

The plan is for this to chronicle my trip which takes us through all the main continents, bar antarctica (flights there are hard to come across)... sweeeet

My last trip back home, Rio de Janeiro. This time my Lover came along. We had a great time! Priceless moments spent with family... relaxing @ Ipanema beach, shopping, and eating goooood!!! :) We couldn't get enough!!!

I am going with Becky and am so bloody excited, I can't wait!

It has been such a fabulous trip, and it keeps getting better and even more relaxing.   I woke up a bit late this morning (well, late enough to miss the hotel breakfast), but managed to make it to Ipanema beach in prime time, around 1pm.  The sun was so strong, so one and a half hours did it for me.  After that, I made it to my 3pm appointment for the most lovely Brazilian manicure, pedicure, and haircut.  Tonight we will see the Parade of Champions in the Samb…

We arrived in Rio and checked in to Mellow Yellow hostel, very similar party type hostel to the one we stayed in in Buenos aires. Me, ady, aka and JP went straight down to copacabana beach which was absolutely class. the beach was packed and the waves were massive and dragged you around everywhere. we had cocunuts off this guy called flavio and the guy just runs and gets them out the tree, chops the top off with a machete and puts a straw in it for you, they were gorgeous. South America

The start of my year of travel, kicked off with New Years Eve in Rio de Janeiro, 90 hours of bus rides across Brazil, Argentina, and Chile, and topping it off with Rio again. Wow and uau!

I love make this trip with my great friends Chanita an Rosita, visit great beaches, i love hot weather, and finally visit family....I have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!
