Apparently when you go to Puerto Rico you are supposed to book a hotel and transportation in advance. Being the procastinator that I am, my sister and I arrived in Aguadilla thinking we would travel by bus to Rincon for the night. In Puerto Rico, there is no cross-island bus service and no "budget" accomodation. Random roadtrip around Puerto Rico. (1 week)

this is the first time i've been in p.r. during the 'rainy season' and it's SO GREEN! the hills that are usually a dark burnt brown are a beautiful vibrant color and everything just seems overflowing with life. even the birds seem to be out in full strength. yesterday i could see the magnificent frigatebirds (that's their real name!) from our veranda soaring overhead....amazing. oh! and i finally went diving off desecheo the other day; two dives at two different reefs around the islan…

While in college, I spent a semester in Puerto Rico taking general education courses. This was an interesting experience and quite the learning experience. While there, I maximized travel time while minimizing study time ;)
