Rimu Lodge Hokitika Description

Located on New Zealand's West Coast, Rimu Lodge is boutique lodge accommodation situated just a ten minute drive from Hokitika and its award winning cafes, and unique tourism attractions. Architecturally designed, each guest room takes maximum advantage of the wonderful views. Rooms are casually elegant, yet intimate, and tastefully decorated, with ensuite bathrooms equipped with heated towel rails, demisting mirrors and hair dryers. Kereru (woodpigeon) Room (queen) This stylish suite is decorated in warm grey-based walls with drapes of subdued blue/grey/subdued red - very soft colourings, earthy contemporary fittings. The bed is complimented by large european pillows and mohair rug and the room has two comfortable chairs and table, luggage racks, and opens to a large outdoor deck where you can enjoy your coffee and breakfast in the morning. Tui Room (queen) Luxurious large ground floor suite specifically designed to meet New Zealand disability standards. An Intimate and tranquil suite decorated in "iced" lime which is as it sounds, a lovely fresh soft lime green. The walls are cream with cane chairs covered in similar green fabric. "Sanderson" cushions on the bed and chairs feature a poeny rose with a soft cream duvet cover and large european pillows, luxurious Egyptian cotton linen, mohair rug and includes a spacious ensuite which is a large total mobility bathroom. The large outdoor deck provides spectacular scenery of the beautiful Hokitika River and surrounding mountains and takes advantage of the morning sun. Kotuku (white heron) Room (king/twin) Gorgeous, spacious first floor (upstairs) suite decorated in contemporary soft earthy tones. The drapes are almond colour and the duvet a rich brown. This suite includes a spacious area with two comfortable chairs for your reading and spacious ensuite bathroom. The view provides spectacular scenery of the beautiful Hokitika River and surrounding mountains. Korimako (Bellbird) Room (queen) Gorgeous, spacious first floor (upstairs) suite with three walls decorated with a soft warm beige with one feature wall behind the bed in warm dark violet. This room features a king/twin bed. The drapes are a rich but warm mid to dark violet hue. This suite includes mohair rugs, luxurious bed cushions and includes a large ensuite bathroom and luxurious area for your relaxation. Enjoy the wonderful view overlooking the river and surrounding mountains. An additional smaller bedroom with private bathroom is available for a third person of a triple party booking or driver.
