Riley Park Calgary Reviews
Big park, Fairly close to city centre Sep 16, 2008
Riley Park is a fairly big park, just North of the Kensington area of Calgary, which is right across the river from the western Downtown area. The Park is also south of SAIT school. Easy access from 14th St, up from Kensingtion, quick walk from 16th Ave, and the SAIT stop on the C-Train.
This park has large greenspace for whipping the frisbee, football, soccer, w/e. Playgrounds for children, as well as a fairly big FREE wading pool.
In the summer, you may even see amateur cricket games going on in one of the fields. In another area, you might see a wannabe busker twirling poi or other things on fire:)
Good to check out, gets pretty busy on a weekend or a hot day.
