Riga is the capital of Latvia situated near the Baltic Sea. The city offers a historic Old Town as well as a ton of Art Nouveau architecture. It is an interesting city with lots of history.
The city offers the three brothers, Occupation museum, Mezaparks, the tv tower, St. Peters Church and the central market among a few of the sights. There are plenty of museums and sights in the city that it is impossible to leave without learning something new.
There are plenty of accommodations and restaurants for all budget types in Riga. No matter how much time you have here, it is well worth a visit to explore this vibrant city!

Arriving to Riga,first stop of my baltic´s adventure

even though Riga and Vilnius are capitals of baltic states, they are very different. by architecture and just by atmosphere. :)

Advents has for me been a time for preparing for Christmas with baking different types of small Christmas cakes, Christmas decorating my house, writing Christmas letters and figuring out what to by for Christmas presents to family and friends.
