Feb 06, 2007 I have to say, that this is probably one of the best hostels I have stayed in EVER!!! Its cheap, its centrally located (in, as the name suggests, Oldtown Riga...and a two minute walking distance from the bus station), the staff is exceptionally friendly, and the amenities are outstanding (internet, laundry, a sauna, super clean kitchen facilities, etc). The bar located in the "lobby"...well actually the lobby is the bar itself...is a great place to meet not only other backpackers but also other Latvians. Other than all this...the ambiance of the hostel is probably one of the best Ive encountered. |
