Riding a motorcycle across Mexico Reviews

The initial response when others learned that I was driving my motorcycle across Mexico was that I was "crazy." Despite the news of drug cartels massacring tourists and hearsay of my friends and family I started off with a naive and optimistic outlook.

My route was down the west coast. Hermosillo, Mazatlan, Guadalajara, Morelia and eventually Puebla as my destination (but not after passing through the concrete jungle of Mexico City).

6000 miles and 1 month later I recrossed the US border without a hint of danger.

I would like to dispel any rumors of the danger of Mexico. I had an enjoyable experience and would recommend it still as a great getaway destination.
