Richmond Night Market Reviews
Not to be confused with the Summer Night Market in Richmond Jul 14, 2015
Why are there two night markets in Richmond? I did a search and found out why (read this - http://www.insidevancouver.ca/2012/05/10/tale-of-two-night-markets-richmond-night-market-vs-summer-night-market-2012/)
The Richmond Night Market charges $2.50 admission with free parking; the Summer Night Market (it's been the longest running one) is free, but charges for parking.
I've been to both and they are so similar, it doesn't really matter which one you go to...both are great.
If you love (weird) Asian food, you can eat until your heart's content for very little money. My favorite thing is the grilled squid (I like the tentacles over the rings). You'll also find things like chicken knees and beef offul (passed on both for health reason). Skewers of chicken, ramen burgers (ramen is used in place of a bun, dim sum, watermelon and pineapple juice served in their rinds....the list goes on and on!
I try to go up to Richmond once each summer just for the night markets....it's even better with a group of friends!
