A good buy from a night out in downtown toronto Sep 05, 2008
I love, love this place everytime i go to toronto i go there. The restaurant has become part of Rich Tree markets and to be honest the food quality is not exactly the same but the place is still pretty cool. The place gets my stars for ambience-sort of a cross between old italian and greek taverna with a cafeteria twist. The place consists of stations i think about ten or so if im not mistaken which serve everything from steak to crepes. You have your pasta for the italian food aficianados, a taste of southeast asia, crepes and baguettes for those who want to think they are in paris(which to say they are simply delish!) and your traditional grilled items. The price is resonable i paid around $10 for pilaf and salmon and it was delicious.

The structure is you get what you want and it gets punched on a ticket and you pay for it all before you leave.

What i really love about Le Marche is the ambience. It is in the BCE building with its whole glass ceiling and inside the restaurant/market is beautifully decorated with fountains, trees and cute little tables. Just avoid crowded times- it ruins the experience.

I guess what
