After Esbjerg, we drove to the oldest town in Denmark. The medieval town of Ribe. It was around 3 PM, so we decided to stay in Ribe, get some dinner and explore the town. Appropriately enough, we stayed in the oldest hotel in Ribe.

After backpacking Europe many other times, this trip was a quick 3 week jaunt around to some of my favorite places in Europe. I hit up
Holland, Denmark, Florence, and Barcelona before friends and I met up to go to Morocco, which is another blog :)

Last summer my boyfriend and i made a tour for two weeks along the coastline of Jutland, Denmark.
Stayed at different camping sites with our trusty tent without reservations :)

We checked out of Arhus and headed south, back towards Kolding, turning west and taking the back roads to Ribe, Denmark's oldest town.
