One of the main gateways to Triglav National Park, Ribcev Laz is a small town that sits on the eastern shore of Lake Bohinj (Bohinjsko Jezero). The town consists principally of a small number of hotels, restaurants, and other tourist services for the Park.
The town is mainly geared to the outdoor activities of the park, but there is also a fascinating old church (Church os St. John the Baptist) right off the lake to visit for a bit of cultural edification among your adventures.
Enjoy hiking, boating, skiing (in season), or head off to conquer Mt. Triglav, the highest point in Slovenia, from this wonderful town.
