Good centrally located place in Hama Feb 21, 2009
Good centrally located hotel in Hama. 700 Syrian Pounds (about 13 euro) for double room with ensuite and breakfast. Very comfortable bed! Friendly owners. Organise tours (bargain hard over prices) to surrounding sites.

It took about 15 minutes to reach the centre, after which we bade farewell and went to look at the two neighbouring hotels that were recommended by LP. We checked out Riad Hotel first and it seemed like a reasonable option, as the rooms were well looked after and the staff incredibly polite. However, the Hotel Cairo managed to trump it by offering us a double room… Waterwheels |
