Rheden Vacation Guide

Rheden is a small village in the neighbourhood of Arnhem. It is an 10 km drive. The train will actually stop here twice an hour. Rheden itself is not very big or interesting. But the location is very good. We do have several hotels and restaurants here. Rheden is located between the river the IJssel and The Posbank. De posbank is the beginning of the veluwe. When you have energie enough you should walk to the top of the posbank. Starting at the Schietbergseweg. Follow this road up and you will have a nice view. If the weather is clear you can see the german city Elten. And you can relax and have a cup of coffee at the restaurant at the top of the posbank.

If it is warm weather you can visit Lathum. Take the small ferry from Rheden to Lathum. (just to cross the IJssel) Here you will find all things for fun in and around the little lake. This is created because they needed the sand. Now it is a very nice place to be in the summer.
