A taste of the beauty of the northern part of India: punjab, radjastan, ladakh, uttar pradesh.

After about another hour of tramping through Laos mud and with no sign of the jeep as yet, we came to a river crossing. Here there was a stilted hut with no walls but a thatched roof under which we could shelter from the rain and rest for a while. My trip to Malta... it was just great....

To give an honest opion of this hotel, if it were a hotel advertising it's room rates at about $130 NZ dollars, it would have been close to the mark. However the advertised rate for the room we had was $350, I contacted the hotel directly and they quoted me $250. I waited and bought this room for the night through Wotif. Today we drove from Christchurch to Picton. We passed through a suburb called Belfast so as I was born in Belfast Northern Ireland, I had to take a photo.  We had an easy and enjoyable drive. We stopped in Kaikoura for lunch and decided that we would come back one day.
