Revere Overview

Revere, MA is a suburb of Boston, located 10 miles northeast of the capital city. It has a population of about 48,000 people. Its history as a town goes back to the 17th century, and the town has been known under several names. It was renamed for Paul Revere in 1871. Revere was also the sight of the first naval battle in the American Revolution.

The town is home to Revere Beach, which has undergone a revitalization campaign, and Wonderland Dog Track. The Boston subway system reaches into Revere. It is served by many hotels, restaurants, and rental car companies.
