Retro Park Listvyanka Reviews
An amusing diversion in Listvyanka Jun 02, 2009
So you're in Listvyanka, you've seen the mighty Lake Baikal, you've walked the streets, shopped at the souvenir stalls, and partaken in the experience of a Russian banya. And you still need something else to see.
Retro Park is the place to while a way a half hour or so. For a small fee (recommended about 30 Rubles or around $1 US) spend some time wandering the unique creations this owner has created out of old car and motorcycle parts on his property.
Lots of laughs at the metallic handiwork that has been created here. Also take a look at some of the old Russian automobiles in various states of (dis)repair that dot the premises.
Extend your time by exploring the Siberian architecture of the neighborhood and the Russian Orthodox church (St Nicholas) that is a bit further back down the street before returning to Listvyanka proper.
