Please to no waste the money, it is so not worth even 20 bucks Mar 30, 2009
Guys, this place is so bad, so bad. Do not waste you time or money. First, I live in Spain so I'm very used to 'Spanish' service, this was way below the normal average service we are used to, it was so bad. We were asked to wait in the bar, OK< no worries. We were there 15 or 20 minutes and never were able to get a beer, not even offered a water. Oh, we spoke with several 'waiters' who all said, 'I don't work behind the bar' even though they were behind the bar but just could not bother with helping us or even handing us some peanuts. When finally seated we found that the service or food was no better. The food sucks, my daughters 30Euro plate was something you might find in a ball park. My 25Euro piece of cod was smaller than my palm and covered in Chef Boyardee. We were even charged a euro a piece for each finger size piece of bread. Amazing. And to top it off, the slick waiter added a meal to my check thinking he'd give himself a nice tip. My wife left 1Euro cent for a tip.

The park is great, but two weeks after visiting I’m still pissed about spending a dime in this crappy want to be fancy restaurant. I’ve spent hundreds on nice meals and never felt as screwed as after eating in this place.

Save you money and time, eat anywhere in the park but this armpit

Spectacular submarine restaurant in Valencia Aug 22, 2008
If you are planning a visit to Valencia you should make a reservation in the submarine restaurant at the Oceanográfico. It is located inside the park and it is the coolest place. We made the reservation for 9.30pm and once we got there we had to go to the main entrance and give the reservation´s name. Then you have to go through the pools until you find a couple of torches ligthening the main door. Then they take you down some stairs until you get to a huge aquarium. The building is completely rounded and al around it you have thousands of fishes swimming around you. Right in the middle there was a guy playing a piano and also a bar to have a drink before dinner. We had a martini and a beer until was time for dinner.

The table was right next to the aquarium. It was so relaxing to see the fishes swimming around you while having dinner! A totally new experience! We had some vegetables for starters and a grilled lobster for mains. Of course we ordered some white wine and desserts. The whole deal was 100 euros! 50 euros per person.

Valencia has been rather boring. I'm glad I decided to take the later train from Granada and spent another day there because there was nothing much to do in Valencia. I arrived in Valencia at 5.30am in the morning today. Livia and I walked…… Valencia
