Restaurant Little Italy - Delft
Restaurant Little Italy - Delft Reviews
Affordable meal Apr 29, 2012
We came across this Italian restaurant after wandering the streets of Delft in search of not very expensive place for our afternoon meal. It was not difficult to find as it is just off the main square in one of the small alleys.
On entering the restaurant, we were greeted by friendly staff who sat us all down at one table (there was 5 people) after asking whether we were eating. It took a while to have our drinks ordered, and we were informed that we couldn't order any pizzas as they run out. The waitress gave us English menus to order from. And yet again, it was a while before someone took our orders. Drinks were served and the waitress checked what we ordered as there seemed to have been some confusion with our food. After about 20 minute wait, or maybe a bit longer, the food was finally served to 3 of us, while the other 2 had to explain what their order was before it was served.
We dug into the pasta courses and we were not disappointed with food quality at all. It was very tasty and the portions were just right to constitute as a fulfilling meal.
For my meal including beer, I paid about €10. Not bad after all.
