Restaurant Le Wok Saint-Louis Reviews
Nice location Apr 30, 2012
We had been driving around the island since we arrived in the morning and it was time to find a place to eat. At Saint-Louis we passed a sign of a restaurant and it looked like a place that could be nice to visit. On this island the main thing was to figure out if the place was open, because this of season visit truly displayed that they island was pretty empty as we hardly had met any people driving around there.
We entered and we were meet by a woman, who confirmed that the place was open. We took a table near the water; actually we were less than half a meter from the water. It turned out that they had a floating table so you could actually eat in the water. We were the only people there and we ordered some water while we looked at the menu. The restaurant was inspired and influenced by the Vietnamese kitchen and I ordered a Vietnam salad followed by some ice cream. The food was okay, spicy and light and what is what I needed on a hot day like we had. It was not a particular cheap place but being on an isolated island like this all goods have another price. We paid 36 euro for us both with only water, which actually was quite pricy.
