Restaurant La Quebrada Reviews
Seafood in Quebradillas May 21, 2008
This restaurant is a little hidden away in a residential area. It's not a fancy place but the food is great. Hopefully you'll be able to find it in case you want to check it out. A GPS might be helpful so ask your rental car place for one! I had my personal Puerto Rico guide Enid with me so I got lucky enough to experience this place.
The menu is huge! You can have your fish of choice prepared in several different ways and with different side dishes. The complimentary garlic bread is to die for. Typical Puerto Rican fried (banana)snacks, like Mofongos are also on the menu. We had the Shrimp cocktail as an appetizer. Big shrimps not the ones you sometimes get and go, "I paid 10 bucks for this?". Hubby had the Red Snapper, garlic grilled with mashed potatoes (8 out of 10 rating ;) and I had the Dorado fillet garlic grilled with beans and rice (10 out of 10 for the beans and a 6 out of 10 for the fish). The tab for the whole group (5 adult and 2 kids)was $116 dollars with tip, so not bad at all for seafood. If you are in the area you should check it out. Part of the Puerto Rico 2008 travel blog |
