Restaurant L'Anfora Copenhagen Reviews
Had a great pizza here Jul 02, 2015
While walking around enjoying the sites of Copenhagen I started to get hungry so decided I would stop off at the first place that appealed to me, and that place was L'Anfora. I had a quick look at the menu and it was good enough to invite me through the door. I did go between lunch and dinner though so I had the whole place to myself. I decided not to let an empty restaurant bother me and went inside and sat down.
I'd noticed a lot of Italian restaurants while walking around Copenhagen so it was nice to finally try one out. The lunch menu is cheaper (like with most places in Copenhagen) but a lot smaller than the dinner menu. I decided to go for the aubergine and mushroom pizza. I was shocked when it came out as it was massive. For a lunch pizza I was expecting something smaller. It was delicious though which then causes the problem of me wanting to eat it even though it's too big for my stomach. I gave it a good go but had to give up. Was so nice though!
I would happily recommend this place. It's not far from the Rosenborg Castle so a good location and a very reasonable price. The pizza I had was 75 kroner on the lunch menu and the dinner price is only 85 kroner so a very good price. Although being a vegetarian pizza it was cheaper than the others. The rest of the pizzas are between 85 and 115 kroner which is still a very reasonable price. They even offered a few set menu options for 3 course meals between 179 and 249 kroner, depending on what you ordered. You could easily have a good meal here without breaking the bank
