Restaurant Kmicic Warsaw Reviews
Great traditional Polish food Nov 26, 2011
I was together with some of my friends in Warsaw city center and we wanted to find a place where we could have some genuine Polish traditional food and Restaurant Kmicic should be the place. The restaurant is situated in the old part of town in the beer street (Piwna).
Stepping inside it was like stepping back in time; pink walls, bras lamps and relics from dead animals that you can find in the forests of Poland. As we entered we were greeted of a lady in her late 40s with a huge cleavage and a friendly smile.
She found us a table in the middle of the room and gave us the menu. We started by ordering some wonderful Polish vodka while we went through the menu. I decided to have a mushroom soup and had that followed by a wild boar. The food was exquisite and the price more than fair. I was like the others totally full after the meal but we continued to drink the wonderful vodka.
The restaurant is highly recommendable if you want to enjoy traditional polish food.
