Restaurant Amour Paris Reviews
Very fine dining Jun 30, 2014
N48°52.833' E2°20.371' The restaurant of this hotel has a lovely secluded garden in the back. Long bamboo shoots hide concrete walls and an array of airco-units. Part of the garden has a glass ceiling in case of rain. Of course, seating inside the restaurant is also available.
During our visit in June 2014 reservation was mandatory. At 20:00 the restaurant filled up with young French guests. Good sign. The wine list divided by regions was impressive. There is a very small Italian wine section too. We choose the Salices white wine, an excellent choice in combination with the main fish courses.
We followed the suggestions of the chef. The filet de turbot de l’ile de d’Yeu rôti à l’unilatéral was a surprise. Nice and delicate taste. The accompanying riz vénéré was truly excellent. The same story goes for the filet de cabillaud rôti à l’unilatéral. Nice and delicate fish flavours, but again the accompanying haricots verts stole the show.
After been blown away by the ganache choco and yaourt brebis deserts we concluded that restaurant Amour knows the fine art of French dinning. Truly exceptional.
