A Complete Rest Area Dec 24, 2008
If you drive from Jakarta to the East [Bandung, Cirebon, Central and East Java, Bali], one of the alternative ways is through Cikampek Toll Road. If you want to rest for a while because of tired, sleepy, hungry, or need to go to bathroom, you can stop at Rest Area.

During my trip to Yogyakarta, I visited 2 rest areas, Km 19 and 29. Both of them are completed with gas station, restaurants, food court, mini markets, and toilets. The differences are:

- Km 19 has only musholla [small space for muslims to pray] and Km 29 has a mosque

- Km 29 has an open sitting area for resting and Km 19 doesn't

- Km 29 has some ATMs but I'm not sure with Km 19

So, when you're driving to the East and feel sleepy or tired at Cikampek Toll Road, stop and take rest ;-)
