Resort at Squaw Creek Olympic Valley Reviews
Nov 24, 2005
Trust me, as soon as you step into this hotel room, you will NOT want to leave. At$200/night, the room was extremely homey and cozy (in a good way, not cozy as in tiny). It's cheap if you count 5 people living in a suite. 20 minutes away from Lake Tahoe, the hotel had the amenities standard in a four-star with some added bonuses. The Thanksgiving feast was free with asmore bonfire event after. The suite was quite large and included afridge, stove, microwave, pots and pans for cooking, plate and utensil setfor 6. Flat screens in the bedroom and the living room were a great touch, as well as the fireplace that ignites with a flick of a switch. The interior was rustic with wood and stone accenting the every nook and cranny. The bathroom was large, with stand-up shower and separate bathtub. The pools was large and heated, with 3 private hot tubs adjacent to the main pool. I just wished it was snowing when we arrived (especially in the hot-tub).A stone's throw away are a private golf course, private ski lift, and nature trails. Service was quick when we asked for extra towels. Classic to Tahoe's suroundings, the smell of the pine forest was great to wake up to and see through our suite window.
