Reserva Natural Atitlan Panajachel Reviews
Zipline Mar 20, 2010
Reserva Natural offers a zipline tour, hiking trails and a butterfly exhibit.
The zipline starts with a safety demonstration on a little cable. Your two guides suit you up. There are lockers to store your valuables (don't want them to fall out in the jungle!).
It's a 20 minute hike to the first station. There are 8 zips in total with the first being the slowest to get you acclimated. My favorite was the second, long and pretty fast. A couple of them are very fast but the guides warn you.
If your are scared you can walk back down. You can also go tandem with the guide if you really want to. One of the girls I was with did that.
There are nature hiking trails as well. We were too tired and skipped that part.
We walked next door to the butterfly exhibit. Unfortunately it wasn't the right season so there weren't any. They said it's amazing when they are all out!
A fun experience for Q190
