Renoir Hotel San Francisco
Renoir Hotel San Francisco Reviews
Please do NOT book May 25, 2009
We booked this hotel through priceline.com. The bid was for $65 a night but we ended up with a bill of over $214 for 2 nights. I don't what happened but the hotel is not worth even $50 a night. The toilet would not flash I had to flash 3 times before it went down. The room had this old heater that resembled the one we saw at Alcatraz, not heat i the room and it was freezing.
The elevator smelled like someone has been sick in there and it will not go up and down smoothly. We could not pack outside and valet parking was 27 a night. Wi-fi access was $5.00 for 20 minutes. All in all, I do NOT recommend this hotel to anyone who has a choice. The only thing that looks decent is the decor that looks expensive, but it's old. The chairs in the lounge are old and dirty. |

Actually a good experience Apr 28, 2008
Had we read the comments of previous hotel guests on this website, we would probably never have booked the Renoir. But we needed a centrally located hotel in downtown, near the Court House at the Civic Center, and the Renoir was just3 blocks away,...read entire review at TravelPost.com

Not in a good area Aug 02, 2007
People have to realize that this location is truly terrible. As a San Francisco resident I am always horrified that hoteliers will say areas like Civic Center, upper Market Street are great locations. Even if they renovate the hotel today you are...read entire review at TravelPost.com
