Although Reno is known as the northern gambling center for Nevada the increase in California Indian gaming Casinos has really hurt the Casinos of Reno and Sparks. After a great afternoon in Lake Tahoe, we ventured off to Reno so Liz could check out a little gambling and the casinos since we didn't have time to get her to Vegas on this visit. Reno is about 20-30 minutes past Lake Tahoe so I couldn't pass on the opportunity to take Liz up there!

About three weeks worth of Waterfall hunting. From California north through Oregon, Washington, then through Idaho and Monatana and Glacier National Park. Then south through Idaho, and Nevada before coming home.

Gas was back up to $3.199 here in Jerome last night. Oh they do have lower priced gas, but it is only 85 octane instead of the 87 offered in all other western states. So we opt for the mid range for at least a dime a gallon more.
