Rendezvous Hotel Singapore

First time stay in this Hotel Rendezvous was in 2003. At that time it was good value for money but nowadays the price has nearly doubled since then. Perhaps by now it’s a bit overprices therefore. But nevertheless, Hotel Rendezvous is a very nice hotel with grandeur I think. A marble lobby with a stylish big staircase leading up the room floors for example.

The Superior room we booked was a bit smallish though. Also the bathroom was a bit on the small side. But the decoration of both rooms made up for that again. Coffee and tea making facilities and a fridge were also in the room.

The hotel comes with a roofed swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Simple straight rectangular pool and again nicely decorated and with quite a lot of green it feels like an oasis of rest in always busy Singapore.

The location is quite good, within walking distance of the famous Orchard Road with all it’s malls and eating and drinking places. Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station is a 5min walk away from the hotel, and the bus stop is right in front of the door.

While staying in Hotel Rendezvous I highly recommend that you bring a visit to the nearby Coffee Club. A very nice and cosy place with excellent sandwiches and lovely coffee, smoothies and juices.
