Rembrandt hotel Bucharest Reviews
Master shows how it should be done Jul 22, 2015
N44°25.937' E26°5.991' this Lonely Planet top choice and Tripadvisor number 1 for Bucharest is the best hotel for travellers in Bucharest. Maybe the Intercontinental or the Hilton is better for business people who do not pay their bills themselves, but for us sleeping in this Art Deco hotel was a great experience.
God is in the details and the Rembrandt hotel covers them well. Our room number 14 in April 2015 was at the quiet back of the hotel. Its view from the window on the inner courtyard is not great, but the room is about sleeping and in this area, it excels.
The room is well cleaned and maintained. The bed slept really well, although the double size duvet/comforter was too small. We like the duvet tucked in at the end. The shower was great.
The interior of the room is romantic and offers a lot of wood, a comfortable leather chair, desk, television, fridge with minibar, split air-conditioning and safe. Free Wi-Fi reception in the room is excellent. The hotel organised everything in the room with many personal touches.
The continental breakfast is on the second floor in the Klein Café, offering freshly made orange juice, yoghurts, fruits, salad, boiled eggs and croissants. We finished with a cup of nice Illy espresso. Next-door is the Grand Café Van Gogh of the same Dutch owners. Hotel guests receive a 10% discount.
For €72 a night, the Rembrandt hotel offers an excellent stay in the middle of the old town. We confirmed their excellent rating. Very recommended.
